How to extract aloe vera gel from the plant
Scientists have discovered over 150 nutritional ingredients in Aloe vera.

Aloe vera contains metabolites such as anthraquinones, enzymes, minerals, lignins, monosaccharide, amino acids, polysaccharides, salicylic acid, saponins, and Vitamins: It contains vitamins A (beta-carotene), C and E, which are antioxidants. It also contains vitamin B12, folic acid, and choline.
To enjoy all the benefits of aloe vera, you have to extract the gel from the plant.
Use this simple method to extract your aloe vera gel.
Small scale extraction
- Get fresh plant and wash in clean water.
- Cut horizontally into parts.
- Take one part and peel off the skin.
- Scratch the inner portion gently with a spoon into a bowl.
- Do the same with the other parts.
Your aloe vera gel is ready for use.
Large-scale extraction
- Get your plant (in large quantity of course)
- Peel off the skin and put it into a blender.
- Turn on the blender and allow to blend.
- Transfer into a container and store.
Note: It should be stored away from sunlight. Olive oil can be added to make it last longer.
