Miss Charity Ogwutum wins Miss Rivers golden jubilee contest

Miss Charity Ogwutum from Obio/Akpor LGA was crowned Miss rivers golden jubilee in the just concluded 'Rivers Golden Jubilee Pageant' which took place at the Marquee Hall of the Presidential Hotel, Port Harcourt on Friday 12th May.


She beat 20 other contestants, emerging as the winner with a cash prize of one million naira and a brand new car.

Miss Chinenye Akaya (Miss Oyigbo) Firsr runner up.
Miss Vivian Briggs (Miss Akuku toru) second runner up.
Miss Benibo Joseph (Miss Degema) third runner up
Miss Elizabeth Nyedah (Miss Gokana) fourth runner up.


The beauty contest was held as one of the events in the Rivers@50 celebration which features numerous activities including a polo tournament, cycling competition, wrestling competition and a whole lot of others.
